From Hand Hewning and Dapping... 

When Jeff started Apache Forest Products almost two decades ago, his customers came out of the gate asking for hand hewn poles and piles as well as dapped timbers.  So he would take the material back to his house or to a friend’s yard and do it himself.  Soon, customers were asking for a little bit more than he could handle himself, so he would contract jobs to others and hope that they would perform the same quality of work he was accustomed to providing his customers.

...To A Full Fabrication Shop 

After a few years using outside fabrication facilities, we decided to do some of the fabrication through Apache.  So Apache eventually opened our fabrication shop a few miles down the road from the sales office.  Now Apache fabricates heavy timber and glulams at it’s 6,500 foot facility on a 5 acre yard as well as partnering with other fabrication companies.  With the addition of a band saw that can cut up to 37” widths and 36’ lengths, there isn’t much we can’t handle.
