Apache Forest Products and Keith Barber Construction were partnered together to rehabilitate this old converted foot bridge across the Appomattox River.  Apache provided the Creosote White Oak timbers that were used as the support for the top decking.  In addition to providing the timbers more than 1,000 timbers that span the 2,400 foot long bridge, Apache hand dapped each one to conform to the shape of the more than 160 year old former rail bridge.
