Birth of Apache

 

After working for 14 years in the lumber and timber industry, in 2002 we decided to start Apache Forest Products. More than two decades later, we have proven that dreams do come true. Why Apache? First in the phone book? Not quite. The Apache Indians were aggressive and fought hard to keep what they had earned, this is our mentality.  We also had the dream, the drive, and a never quit attitude, like an Apache Indian. Geronimo was a well-known Apache Indian and one of our favorite quotes of his was this,  “I cannot think that we are useless or God would not have created us. There is one God looking down on us all. We are all the children of one God. The sun, the darkness, the winds are all listening to what we have to say”.  I believe it’s a blessing to have a business and serve others with the best you have.

Today, we still specialize in heavy timbers, glu-laminated timber beams, poles, and piling. Our niche is our specialty woods and fabrication of projects. Apache has grown from cutting large timbers, which we still do, to providing our customers with complete turn-key packages.
